Rebecca Katz, a Montrealer born and raised, is presently a PhD candidate at the McGill School of Information Studies. She holds a Master of Law from the University of Ottawa and a BCL/LLB from McGill. Rebecca developed her keen interest in information policy while working at the Library of Parliament. In addition to teaching information policy issues, Rebecca researches and has published on the relationship of copyright with online fan fiction. She is currently trying to break into fiction publishing and recently sold her first short story.
